Terms and conditions

Bookings

Seats cannot be guaranteed for tours unless reserved or booked at least 12 hour before scheduled departure time and 1 hour before for Flybus.

Flybus/Flybus+

Scheduled Flybus departures operate from the BSÍ Bus Terminal. Flybus+ service is available from selected hotels, guesthouses, and tour bus stops located in central Reykjavík.

ICELANDIA acknowledges that travel bags are designed to protect their contents. Considering normal handling, baggage may show evidence of wear and tear. ICELANDIA does not take responsibility for minor cuts, scratches, and dents or for any damage that may occur to items that protrude from travel bags, such as retractable handles, wheels, straps, and luggage carts.

Pick up and drop off service for Reykjavík Excursions day tours

  • Pick up for day tours is operated by several smaller coaches throughout the city centre up to 30 minutes before departure. Please be ready in time for your pick up in front of your hotel or guesthouse. Main departure point for RE day tours is from BSÍ Bus Terminal.
  • Drop off starts after indicated arrival time. Please note that drop off locations may not be directly in front of your hotel/guesthouse dictated by actual conditions (e.g. narrow streets, coach size, roadworks, etc.).

Return times

Please note that indicated return times refer to guided tours only, drop offs and pick ups are not included. Additionally, during winter return times can vary due to weather conditions.

Re-boarding after stops and rest breaks

When you get off the tour bus on sightseeing stops and rest breaks while on a day tour with Reykjavík Excursions, the tour guide will announce the duration of the stop and the scheduled departure time. It is your responsibility to re-board the bus at the scheduled departure time. If you are missing or late for the scheduled departure time, the tour bus will not wait for you as we will have to keep to the tour schedule.

Reykjavík Excursions will not refund the tour nor cover any costs incurred as a result of a failure to re-board the tour bus on time. In the event of your failure to re-board the bus on time, you will have to make alternative transport arrangements at your own expense.
