_Exploring Iceland’s Dramatic South Coast

Begin a remarkable excursion along the stunning South Coast of Iceland aboard our custom-built all-terrain vehicle, merging ultimate comfort with the spirit of adventure. Experience an intimate and thrilling tour led by our knowledgeable guide.

Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up close to your accommodation, taking you straight to the awe-inspiring South Coast of Iceland. Journey through a landscape where majestic mountains meet peaceful farmlands, home to grazing horses and sheep. Witness the dramatic contrast of endless black sandy beaches against the mighty Atlantic, and spot glacier-topped volcanoes looming in the distance.

Majestic Waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss

Our first stop includes a visit to two of Iceland’s renowned waterfalls. Witness the splendour of Seljalandsfoss, where water plunges 60 meters into a serene pool. Originating from the Eyjafjallajökull volcano glacier, this waterfall offers a unique experience — the chance to walk behind its cascading waters, feeling the cool mist and capturing unforgettable moments.

We then proceed to Skógafoss, an equally majestic and broader waterfall. Here, rainbows form in the mist of the thundering 60-meter drop. Originating from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier, Skógafoss impresses with its sheer force and elegance. According to local legends, a Viking settler once hid a treasure in a cave behind this waterfall. For the more adventurous, a climb up the 527-step staircase rewards you with a breathtaking view of Iceland’s southern coast.

Black Sand Plain

The journey continues off the beaten path to an extensive black sandy plain. While most tours visit the crowded Reynisfjara beach, we will instead go to a secluded location where you can feel the ultimate remoteness and serenity without having to share the experience with the crowds.

Myrdalsjökull Glacier: A Journey into Ice

The tour’s pinnacle is an exploration of the Myrdalsjökull glacier, Iceland’s fourth-largest ice cap, covering the active Katla volcano. Travel to this icy expanse in our Super Jeep, perfect for navigating such a landscape. The glacier, approximately 600 square kilometres in size and 250 meters thick, presents a mesmerising world of ice and sky.

Inside, discover the magical ice cave, named "Askur", a spectacular natural formation showcasing stunning shades of blue, and feel the serene, otherworldly atmosphere it creates. This is the closest natural ice cave to Reykjavík.

A Journey to Remember

As our journey concludes, we return with memories of Iceland’s unparalleled landscapes. From the powerful waterfalls to the tranquil black sand beaches and the impressive ice cave, each moment of this tour celebrates the wild beauty of Iceland. Join us for more than just a tour; embark on a journey into the heart of Iceland’s natural wonders.
