We had a delightful experience with Reykjavik Excursions! We used them for our transfer from the airport to our holiday but we also booked on the golden circle tour and northern lights tour combined. We had an excellent tour guide and driver for both tours - the information we received on the golden circle tour was incredible. We learned so much and saw so many beautiful scenes that it’s hard to put into words. Pictures don’t do justice. We also had the absolute magical experience of witnessing nature in a natural phenomenon! The northern lights, albeit faint, was breathtaking! Reykjavik Excursions made sure we were in a prime location! I highly recommend!

What can I say! This was the most incredible day ever. Right from being collected from literally outside of our appartment, to the comfort of the bus - the tour guides. Everything was wonderful. We visited Geysirs, Golfuss Waterfall and Thingvellier. We were collected at 12pm and taken to the main bus depot where other passengers were met. The tour is organised so the furthest site is done first, so you do a clever loop. We had plenty of time at each stop and got back to Reykjavic at about 7pm. Time for a quick dinner before being picked up at 8pm for the Northern lights tour. We were lucky enough to witness the lights and I firmly believe that no picture or video can do it justice now that I've seen it with my own eyes! There was a coffee and waffle van at the stop - the owner must be making a fortune because at 11pm in an Icy wonderland - who doesn't want hot chocolate and waffles. My son in fact missed the lights because he was so enamoured with his! Our tour guide was fabulous - she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the lights as well - it was infectious! I would definitely recommend this tour as exceptional value for money. A little short of £200 for 2 adults and 1 teenager and we had a full packed day with lots to see!

Reykjavik Excursions picked us up from nearest bus stop, transferred to main bus terminal and then the tour begins. Quite a bit of time on the coach but great way to see the landscape and plenty of time at the sites; didn't feel overly rushed. Back to the city, time for a break and some food before the later trip out to find the Northern Lights . . . we were lucky and managed to see them. Cold night but you forget about the cold when the magic of the lights starts! Great day overall.
